Update, 20.09.: Die Schließungen für Kmart-Geschäfte im ganzen Land gehen weiter. USA heuteberichtet, dass das Unternehmen 64 Geschäfte in 28 Staaten schließt. In diesen Geschäften beginnt der Liquidationsverkauf am 22. September, und die Geschäfte werden Mitte Dezember geschlossen. Wenn Sie die Liste der zuvor angekündigten Läden hinzufügen, die geschlossen werden sollen, plant Kmart die Schließung von rund 14% seiner Standorte Wallstreet Journal.

Ursprünglicher Beitrag, 4/22: Laut Sears Holding, der Muttergesellschaft der beiden Einzelhändler, die 68 Kmarts und 10 Sears schält, werden in den nächsten Monaten fast 80 Sears- und Kmart-Läden schließen. Nahezu alle Geschäfte werden im Juli schließen, zwei Kmarts schließen im September.
Die Liquidationsverkäufe in den Sears-Filialen beginnen demnach am 29. April USA heute. Kmart startet den Verkauf am 12. Mai.
